  • PODIATRISTS NOT AUTHORIZED TO ADMINISTER H1N1 FLU VACCINES

    On October 24th, President Obama signed an Executive Declaration waiving certain Federal requirements for treatment facilities only.

    Governor O’Malley’s Executive Order 01.01.2009.15 provides for the administration of the H1N1 flu vaccine by EMTs, Paramedics and Cardiac Rescue Technicians only. 

    Until such time as Secretary Colmers (DHMH), pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order, authorizes podiatrists to administer the H1N1 flu vaccine, podiatrists CAN NOT administer H1N1 flu vaccines.
